You don’t have to get a room to get in on summer amenities at LDV at the Maidstone. From now through Labor Day Weekend, the 156-year-old East Hampton inn has a trio of season-spanning reasons to stop into 207 Main Street and get in on some fun daytime distractions.
First up, summer in East Hampton seems like a pretty good spot to pop-up for Fellini Coffee, the stylish, Italian-culture skewed classic coffee bar that opened in 2023 in a minuscule 16 square foot space in the West Village. It’s name is an ode to the famed Italian filmmaker, Federico Fellini, and it now boasts several outposts — and, this summer, a shmancy little coffee truck parked through Labor Day at LDV at The Maidstone. Hanging out right on the front lawn, the pretty burgundy-colored truck operates from 7 a.m. to noon on weekends, serving all your favorite, wake-up espresso drinks via a sweet La Marzocco Italian espresso machine, matcha and brewed teas and pastries and other nibbles.
For those who want a little work-out with their buzz, Fuze House is back for its second summer residency offering Pilates-centric high-intensity, low-impact (your joints will thank them) workouts in The Maidstone Garden. Non-guests are thoroughly welcome to the 50 minutes classes on Friday and Saturday at 8:30 and 9:45 a.m., and Sundays at 9:45 a.m.; each costs $45. Finally, show off that Pilates bod with some beachy bounty from designer Stuart Weitzman, who’s making a first foray into the Hamptons this summer at LDV at The Maidstone. Dubbed the “Exotic Escape” pop-up, expect Weitzman’s signature wedge shoes up for grabs, as well as lots of animal prints, sunglasses and other fun summertime wardrobe staples through July 31, open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
