The deluge of snow and bottomed-out temperatures creating slick, icy streets and sidewalks has been … well, a bummer, hasn’t it? Yes, it’s winter; yes, we were probably all complaining in recent years about how it never snows anymore (be careful what you wish for). But pretty as it is, it’s not really making us feel much like venturing too much past the end of the driveway; and sometimes, not even that far. If this is you, Almond’s new Dinner & Provisions Club is one you’ll want to join.

The Bridgehampton-based restaurant has always kept things interesting. In addition to making some of the best food around (fist bump to chef Jason Weiner), co-owners Eric Lemonides and Weiner always offer delicious nights full of fun at their cozy bistro — from their their off-season Artists & Writers Series to their feel-good Saturday karaoke nights, it’s a pretty good spot to chase away the winter blues.

With the February launch of their Dinner & Provision’s Club, Almond — which turns 25 this year — is making a full dinner for two (or four) experience that you can have at your very own dining table. The monthly subscription service is a seasonally driven, locally sourced, multi-course experience, same as you’d have if you made an Open Table rez — just guaranteed for members and one you can have in your jammies (or a tux and ballgown; hey, you do you!).

It works like this: Sign up and in the beginning of the following month, you’ll receive an email confirming your pick-up or delivery date, as well as updates on what you can look forward to for that particular month’s menu. If you need to skip a month, that’s a-okay; orders for club members are month-to-month, and you can quit the whole shebang whenever you like without penalty. All orders and changes are handled through the portal Table22. Members also get a 10% discount at L&W Market, early access to Almond events and a monthly foodie love letter from the chef telling you what inspired the deliciousness about to hit your table.

Expect Weiner’s inspired, global-but-local dishes, like rich ramen with house-made miso, risotto with roasted root veggies, cured duck prosciutto and pomegranate, and other soup-to-nuts faves. For an extra $30, you can also add their Provisions Bundle to your monthly order, which adds fun extras from L&W market into the mix. Club dinners for two are $95/month and for four $190/month.
