Just after this past July Fourth, Frankie’s Fabulous Italiano opened in the space that formerly housed Little Charli, located at the start of Three Mile Harbor Road in East Hampton.
The location (44 Three Mile Harbor Road) has long been associated with being a nightclub, and don’t worry, it still is! The pizzeria’s current co-inhabitant is Drai’s dance club, a Vegas-born nightlife empire, which has expanded to New York City with Drai’s Supper Club, and which hosts international DJs on a regular basis.
Frankie’s will serve up traditional Italian favorites, with wood-fired items at the heart of its culinary philosophy. Think Roman-style pizzas, chicken parm and penna alla vodka. There is a meter-long pizza, dubbed the “Fabuloso Pizza,” that’s $125 and could very well be the perfect thing to eat after a heavy night of dancing next door. “Summer favorites include the Frankie’s special antipasto salad, blistered artisanal pizzas topped with truffles, portobello mushroom, spicy soppressata; and a range of freshly made tasty pasta dishes and a variety of refreshing desserts including locally made gelato’s,” according to a press statement from Frankie’s. “A curated wine list rounds out the offerings, with a focus on crisp whites, bright rosés and food-friendly reds. For something a little special and truly unique in the Hamptons, Frankie’s will also be offering late evening weekend hours for both onsite dining as well as to-go and delivery orders.”
According to Little Charli’s Instagram page, they’ll be re-opening at another unspecified Hamptons location soon.
Frankie’s will be open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. For more information, call 631-604-8181 or click here for reservations.
