What treasure will you find at the 19th annual East Hampton Historical Society Antiques & Design Show? With more than 50 antique and art dealers on hand the weekend of July 11, it’s safe to say you’ll be in deep, glorious, sky’s-the-limit collectible bounty.

‘“The East Hampton Antiques & Design Show is one of the summer’s most anticipated events,” said interior designer and honorary chair David Kleinberg in a statement to the press. “I look forward to working with the [East Hampton] Historical Society to bring the design community together in celebrating the rich tradition and enduring legacy of this wonderful show.”

Expect unique items for the home and garden, encompassing a broad range of eras and styles, with everything from textiles and furniture, to glass and pottery, fanciful wrought-iron pieces, divine Art Deco accents, vintage signage, classic and statement jewelry and truly everything from weathervanes to wine glasses.

“Over the years, it’s become a highly curated event that attracts the top designers who love supporting the Historical Society and shopping the show,” says Debbie Druker, president of the Historical Society’s Board of Trustees. “The designers purchase tickets to the Preview Party so they won’t miss out on the perfect item they’re seeking for their clients.”

When you see the names on the design committee — a who’s who in the world of interior and exterior aesthetics — you know it’s time to call U-Haul in anticipation: Kendell Cronstrom and Alejandro Saralegui, Steven Gambrel, Stephen Drucker, Bryan Graybill, Perry Guillot, Alexa Hampton, Victoria Hagan, Edmund Hollander, Casey Kenyon, Cathy Kincaid, Reinaldo Leandro, Jennifer Mabley and Austin Handler, Stewart Manger, Charlotte Moss, David Netto, Mario Nievera, Kyle O’Donnell, Alex Papachristidis, Tom Samet and Nathan Wold, Scott Sanders, Brian Sawyer, Tom Scheerer, Mary Margaret Trousdale, Suzanne Tucker, Brian Walker, Marshall Watson and Ann Wolf.

Not only is the annual event a hot-bed of carefully chosen antique offerings, but it also supports the mission of the East Hampton Historical Society, which lovingly and carefully holds a collection of close to 20,000 artifacts and growing. One of the EHHS’s more ambitious projects is creating a state-of-the-art storage center for their irreplaceable town treasures, which will be constructed on Mulford Farm (10 James Lane, East. Hampton) where the Antiques & Design Show takes place.

The 19th annual East Hampton Historical Society Antiques & Design Show will be at held on Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, with the annual benefit Preview Cocktail Party occurring on Friday, July 11 from 6 to 8:30 p.m..
