Sports memorabilia has come a long way — all the way, in fact, to Newtown Lane.
CardVault by Tom Brady, the sports memorabilia and collectibles retailer, opened in East Hampton on May 22, with a ribbon cutting ceremony to usher in a new era of retail in the town. Adding to the brick and mortar CardVault spots in Boston and Foxborough, Mass., Foxwoods, Conn., and American Dream, NJ, the East Hampton outpost adds something never seen before in the Hamptons.
“Bringing CardVault to East Hampton, a community known for being on the cutting edge of art, culture and collecting, is an exciting step forward for our brand, collector and fans worldwide,” co-founder Ed Kane said in a statement to the press.
The East Hampton location offers an extensive collection of both sports cards and other collectible memorabilia from brands like Pokémon, Upper Deck, Topps, Fanatics Authentic and Panini, as well as sports jerseys and equipment and limited edition merchandise. There’s even a bespoke lounge area for customers to meet and trade, engaging in this rapidly growing hobby, which is predicted to hit $271 billion in sales over the next decade, according to research by Market Decipher.
“Following the success opening of course fourth store at American Dream New Jersey, this location reflects our continue commitment to making the hobby accessible and engaging for collectors on all levels,” said Kane. “We’re proud to offer a destination where people can connect with the culture of collecting in such a unique and vibrant setting.”
Brady bought a 50% stake in CardVault this past February 2025, lending his MVP quarterback status and changing the name to CardVault by Tom Brady, adding a boost of visibility and cache to the company’s growing collectible culture.
CardVault by Tom Brady is located at 47 Newtown Lane, East Hampton, and is open daily, Sunday to Thursday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
