With all due respect to Thanksgiving, the Super Bowl makes a strong case for “foodie holiday of the year.” If your idea of fine cuisine is chips and tons of avocado (literally, tons). But if you’d rather someone else clean up the crumbs and make the guacamole, several sports bars in the Hamptons are worth the trip.

Some are hosting gameday specials, while others are just a prime spot to pull up a stool, root for the Eagles or Chiefs and count the number of cutaways to Taylor Swift. It sure beats spending an endless February in hibernation mode. Disagree? Bookmark this space for drowning your bracket-busted sorrows in a plate of wings during March Madness next month or rooting for the Mets or Yankees all summer long.

These Hamptons sports bars are winners.

Corner Bar, 1 Main St., Sag Harbor, 631-725-9760

This long-time Hamptons’ haunt — opened in 1978 — makes Tom Brady’s decades-long Super Bowl-winning career look like small potatoes. The famous corner burger bar might like some MVP-level credit for the success. Made from eight ounces of fresh ground sirloin and served with an obligatory side of fries (speaking of potatoes), it’ll leave you full long past halftime. A long wooden bar, casual vibes and TVs make it an ideal spot for games and grub.

Rowdy Hall, 177 Main St., Amagansett, 631-324-8555

Just the name screams “sports.” The lively, English pub meets French bistro remains an All-American pick for watching sports and doling out high-fives in between bites of burgers (or French onion soup made with craveable Gruyere cheese). The copper bar is ripe for ordering a beverage of choice and cheering on your (perhaps adopted) team with a lively crowd.

The Point Bar & Grill, 697 Montauk Highway, Montauk, 631-668-1500

Whether you’re celebrating The End of the football or college hoops season or counting down until baseball’s opening day, this Montauk spot is a slam dunk and grand slam. A local bar that’s family-friendly by day and hopping 21 and over haven after sundown offers a casual spot to take in the game. The TVs aren’t just limited to behind the bar — you can view games on flat screens above tables. The bar also has access to complete NHL and NBA packages, for the hockey and pro hoopsters in the back.

Southampton Publick House, 62 Jobs Ln, Southampton, 631-283-2800

A spacious watering hole loved for its housemade brew, Southampton Publick House doesn’t hop on the NFL bandwagon for the Super Bowl. It subscribes to the Sunday NFL Ticket, so you don’t have to, and it plays all the games, all season long. And, since football is no longer a one-day only affair, it has Monday Night Madness with $8 wings, $8 burgers and $6 drafts.

Shagwong, 774 Montauk Highway, Montauk, 631-668-3050

Shagwong is knocking on the door of 100 years in the books, having opened in 1936. The throwback East End establishment with unfussy wooden accents is a magnet for happy hours and watching “the game.” A large bar with multiple TVs is ideal for toasting or commiserating with your fellow fans over brews and vinos, including from Montauk Brewing Company and Wölffer Estate Vineyards.

Fellingham’s Restaurant Sports Bar, 17 Cameron St., Southampton, 631-283-9417

“Where good sports meet” is the motto at this decades-old Southampton bar. Tucked behind a bank off Main Street in casual, unassuming digs (the napkins and placemats are paper), Fellingham’s has hung its hat on the sports bar atmosphere. Large TVs around the tavern play the biggest games of the day. Quintessential fare like burgers and fries also fit the bill.

Union Burger Bar, 40 Bowden Square, Southampton, 631-377-3323

Gourmet burger bars and hand-cut fries give Union Burger Bar elevated appeal, but don’t get it twisted: It’s still an approachable, laidback joint. The prices are lax during sports-centric times. See: Half-price wings and $5 beers are on tap during NFL and college games (including March Madness). But the spot is open even during baseball’s dog days of August when Wednesday trivia nights serve as worthy distractions to the Met’s latest unfathomable late-season slide.

Buckleys Inn Between, 139 W Montauk Highway #2309, Hampton Bays, 631-728-7197

Buckley’s Inn Between is a so-chill spot that brings Ireland to the East End — and if you know how the Irish feel about their football (soccer), you know. But American fare like burgers, turkey clubs and fries and large TVs with no issues putting on our version of football keep it squarely on this side of the pond. Open until 10 p.m. seven days per week, it’ll keep your thirst quenched even if you’re watching a late-night nail-biter that’s headed for OT.

Townline BBQ , 3593 Montauk Highway, Sagaponack, 631-537-2271

This BBQ joint is like an indoor tailgate — a big win during cold months. Speaking of wins, Townline has a Super Bowl special to-go on tap. Bags of wings and popcorn and nacho trays are among the ways you can streamline hosting duties in delicious fashion. Or, stick around – each bar purchase nets you a raffle ticket. Townline will raffle off a prize each hour (pro tip: You must be present to win).
