We all the know the Hamptons is synonymous with all-things luxury and high end, but it’s always refreshing when those things are made easily accessible for all.
That’s what’s so cool about The HUB (2183 Montauk Highway) in Bridgehampton, a new dynamic destination for shopping and community that opened this past Memorial Day Weekend. This weekend, The HUB (an acronym for Health, Unity and Beauty) is hosting the first-ever Hamptons pop-up for Printemps New York, a Manhattan-based luxury department store originating from Paris and which specializes in luxury brands featuring everything from clothing to accessories to fragrances.

“You know, we’re really the opposite of a high end, snooty retail experience,” says Michael Catalano, founder of The HUB. “We want you to bring your kids, bring your dogs, come and sit with us. Have a glass of wine or a coffee. There’s no hard pressure selling.”
Starting tomorrow, Aug. 29, and continuing through Sunday, Aug. 31, the fashion-focused pop-up will include an integrative Parisian-inspired shopping spree for Hamptons visitors and residents alike. According to a press release from The HUB, Printemps has teamed up with CocoRedoux, a company and collective known for artcycling and revitalizing vintage bags, apparel and accessories resulting in sustainably transformed wearable art.
“The goal is to bring the French savoir faire to the Hamptons,” says Lucia Pricoco, store manager of the New York Printemps location. “We partner with CocoRedoux to get our beautiful accessories and ready to wear [items], personalized by the artist.” According to Pricoco, about “100 units” will be on view (and for sale) at this weekend’s three-day-long event.
All weekend long during store hours (10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and on Friday after hours for a cocktail toast as well), shoppers will enjoy live artcycling, fashion-in-motion, curated cocktails, and vibrant social energy across the 3,000 square-foot indoor and more than ample outdoor settings at The HUB.

Each day at The HUB will bring a new layer of activation, from shopping Paris pieces, to Friday night’s toast with models and a celebratory DJ, to live art performances, and ready-to-wear debuts. They’ll be seasonally charged cocktails and refreshments and admission is free of charge.
“We like the boho-chic vibe here that Bridgehampton has, and this is something we really resigned to us,” Pricoco says. “We don’t have a piece that you can see in any other place. Everything is bespoke.”
