Debuting today, Montauk Yacht Club’s new racquet-sport destination The Courts is set to make a Sinner (of the Jannick ilk) or a Nosková out of guests to the new sport-focused center.

The project launches this weekend with a special spate of programming that includes padel clinics and tournaments hosts by Casa Club, a King of the Courts tournament, the return of the Billboard Marina Music collaboration featuring a DJ set from Cut Copy and, the a mighty match held at sunset between pros Marcos Arias and Andrea Samson.

Meant to create an active-focused way for guests and visitors to the 16 acre waterfront resort to socialize and have a little healthy competition, Wilson has signed on as the initial exclusive equipment sponsor for the racquet-ready, and those who aren’t so tennis or racquetball familiar can take advantage of its ample clinics and private lessons overseen by Club pro Joseph Alvarez — the former junior champion from Venezuela — and even equipment rental if you don’t have your own.

It’s also the only space in Montauk with dedicated padel courts, as well as a Har-Tru tennis court, and lots of spaces to socialize around them.

Courts and equipment are rented by the hour for $65 (off-peak) and $80 (peak); equipment rental is $20 per hour. Lessons are $260, with clinics ranging from $55 to $90. Day passes are also available. To make a reservation, click here.
