You know who really does a great job decorating for the holidays? The multitude of sweet little inns dotting the Hamptons. If there wasn’t already charm enough at these often historical, rest-your-head havens, their fire crackling, twinkly light dotted loveliness that festoons them for the celebratory end-of-year period is something to see.

But if you live out here, you don’t get much chance to check ’em out, unless of course there’s a lovely restaurant attached and you happen to make a night of it.

You’re in luck this weekend. The Greater East Hampton Chamber of Commerce is showing off the pretty parlors of East Hampton and Amagansett this Saturday, Dec. 14 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Participating inns (as well as a few other surprise entries) include:

Clamber to as many Christmasy guest houses as you can to check out how they’ve decked out, and also be treated to some holiday nibbles and seasonal beverages at each one as well. And if you’re still hankering for a little more noggy nosh, the following restaurants are in a giving mood, offering discounts to Inn Tour participants — just present your proof of visit voucher, which you can pick up at any of the above spots:
