This year Father’s Day falls on Sunday, June 21, helping us to ring in the first day of summer. If you’re at a loss for how to celebrate your pop (they’re kind of tough to buy for, right?) consider taking him to one of these Hamptons spots for what’s sure to be a fun-filled day (or night) designed with Dad in mind.
Peruse through the Sag Harbor Arts & Crafts Fair
An annual spring-into-summer tradition, the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce hosts its Arts & Crafts Fair at Marine Park on Bay Street beginning Friday, June 19 and continuing through Sunday, June 21. Featuring well over 50 vendors, artists and makers showcasing their wares, from jewelry to paintings to high-quality, hand-crafted textiles. Will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
The Hampton Bays institution (located at 259 East Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631-728-4184) will serve a Father’s Day Brunch on Sunday, June 21, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The prix fixe menu will feature a brunch Dad’s sure to love, serving up comforting favorites and specials dishes slated to include myriad styles of eggs Benedict, a Big Daddy Burrito (eggs, chorizo, ham and potato salad stuffed into a spinach tortilla), and a breakfast-inspired burger. Cost is $50 per adult and $20 per child, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are recommended.

See (and hear) a string quartet on Shelter Island
If your Dad is someone who digs music, take him to the Shelter Island Friends of Music performance on Sunday featuring a performance from the Ulysses String Quartet at 6 p.m. Praised for offering sophisticated and imaginative renditions of some of the most beloved songs in classical music, the quartet was founded in 2015 and holds international clout, with members hailing from Canada, the United States and Taiwan. Concert is free of charge but donations are always welcome. Concert will be held at the Shelter Island Presbyterian Church, located at 32 N. Ferry Road on Shelter Island.
Celebrate Dad in style at The Baker House
Splurge on your father with an elegant brunch experience at The Baker House 1650 in East Hampton (181 Main St., East Hampton, 631-324-4081) served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 21. Enjoy brunch beneath the trees or strolling through the picture-perfect, historical property while creating memories with the fam.

Give the gift of mini golf and a cup of coffee from Happy to good ol’ Dad at the Children’s Museum of the East End (376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, 631-537-8250) on Sunday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Attendance is free with admission and the event is destined to be a day of great coffee All ages are welcome.
Treat your father to a dinner fit for a king at this Spanish-style eatery helmed by chef Alex Bujoreanu, located on the same grounds of the Hampton Maid (259 East Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631-728-4184) in Hampton Bays. Enjoy a complimentary glass of Champagne along with an amuse bouche to kick things off. Starters are slated to include a riff on a Caesar salad, charred octopus, lamb tenderloin over couscous and a zesty tuna crudo. Entrees will feature an Iberico pork tenderloing (pretty much the best pork you can get in the world) served with loaded smashed potatoes and chimichurri sauce, R.aire’s siganture land and sea paella, grilled swordfish, and a roasted duck breast. Dessert is set to include a Basque cheesecake, churros, and a chocolate hazelnut mousse cake. The three-course prix fixe menu is $85 for adults, $35 for kids and will be served from 4 to 8 p.m.
Navy Beach (16 Navy Road, Montauk, 631-668-6868) will celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21, offering all dads a complimentary Pacifico Brew, Michelada or Bloody Mary with their meal. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner on Father’s Day beginning at noon.
