For nearly a decade now, Kevin Menard, owner and founder of Dragon Hemp Apothecary in Sag Harbor, has been interested in CBD. Through his business, the acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner is seeking to improve the overall health of the East End, almost literally one gummy at a time.
Steeped in education and consultation, Dragon Hemp utilizes its myriad brand items, now available in the form of a tincture, gummy, or body product, to unveil the mysterious benefits of CBD mixed with ancient Chinese herbs to ultimately return the body to homeostasis.
“We’re not getting people high here, we’re not a dispensary,” says Menard. “We want to improve people’s lives. That’s why I created this line, so so people can continue enjoying their lives without pain. We want them to feel safe and we want them to feel heard.”
