Another stellar season of live theater is at hand at the Hampton Theatre Company with the announcement of their 2026-2027 schedule of performances, starting this October.
“As we look ahead to our 42nd season, the Hampton Theatre Company remains as committed as ever to presenting the very best in live theater entertainment,” said HTC president Rosemany Cline in a statement to the press. “Plays that engage audiences while exploring the heart of the human condition.”
With performances based out of the historic Quogue Community Hall (125 Jessup Ave., Quogue, 631-653-8955), the nonprofit, featuring Actors’ Equity performers, has four performances on the horizon, starting Oct. 15 through Nov. 1 with the comedy “Finishing School” by Elaine Liner. Part of their “Women in Theatre” project, the story two young women who encourage a widower to take a chance on love late in life.
From Dec. 11 to 13, HTC will stage its annual beloved performance of “A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play,” a twist of the Charles Dickens classic, staged as the behind the scenes of a live 1940s radio performance.
In March, the thriller “Dial M for Murder” ushers in spring with a chill through the theater via this story of a husband attempts to deceive and benefit from offing his well-to-do spouse by Jeffrey Hatcher, which runs from March 4 to 21.
Finally, May 20 to June 6 sees the staging of the meta play-in-a-play comedy “Noises Off” by Michael Flynn.
Tickets for all performances are available for sale now, as are season subscriptions (the latter of which affords free access to the Christmas show). Tickets are $40 for adults, $35 for senior citizens, $30 for veterans and Native Americans and $25 for students under 25 years of age. Season packages are $100.
