Being a mom automatically puts you in one of the largest clubs in the world, but it can feel surprisingly isolating at times. If you’re on a mission to build a like-minded community in the Hamptons with moms who share your spirit for fitness, friends, fun and some fashion (with or without the kiddos), look no further than The Mom Club.

The Mom Club was founded in 2024 by born-and-raised New Yorker Sharon Feiereisen, a mom with two small children and writer for various parenting and wellness publications. Drawing on her own experiences navigating mom-hood, she reached out to her brand connections to create multipurpose events that are at once healthy for social relationships, body and mind.

While The Mom Club events span New York City, the Hamptons, Miami and Greenwich, Conn., during the year, but summers belong to the Hamptons. Events are often a combination of physical, social and educational, but most of all, the angle is “to have fun, relax and make new friends,” said Feiereisen.

Knowing that time is the most precious commodity for any mom, Feiereisen also makes sure the events multitask so busy moms can check things off their list.

“The idea is to obviously get the women together, but also to be time effective,” she says.

Events run one to three times a week during the summer, and some are moms-only while some include the wee ones (kids might be part of the event, or done in parallel, like a basketball activation while the moms get pampered with mini facials). Attendees must the parent (no nanny substitutes), making the mommy-and-me weekend events particularly appealing to working moms.

Moms tend to range from “pregnant to having a six or seven year old,” and educational events cover top-of-mimd issues. “School admissions, nutrition, sleep… all the things that are relevant to new moms, but also moms with older kids,” said Feiereisen.

On the multi-part Hamptons Mommy Series, each session is with a different expert, so you can sign up for an a la carte class, or you can do all four and commit to seeing the same women and really get to know people. Prices range from $55 to $125.

“The Mom Club is really the place for moms to make their lifelong friends,” says Feiereisen. “It sounds cheesy but it’s really true. It doesn’t even matter if you’re not interested in each week’s topic. It’s about hanging with other moms, complaining, sharing advice etc. Truly, the connections made in these series are amazing.”
