House proud
Built in 2019, this home was completely reimagined by its current owner, Colleen DeCourcy, a marketing executive whose resume includes her current placement at Sonos, and previously at Snap (owner of Snapchat), and Wieden + Kennedy, where she worked on campaigns for Nike, McDonald’s, Airbnb and Meta. The house is sited at 104 Two Holes of Water and the listing offer includes the adjacent vacant lot at No. 102. DeCourcy enlisted designer Heidi Caillier for the interior makeover and Charlie Marder for landscaping.
“The scope of the work is beyond extensive,” says Jenny Landey, who is co-listing the compound with Anthony Rosina of Sotheby’s International Realty, East Hampton Brokerage. She noted some of the work was finished just a month ago and all of it is customized to reflect the owner’s personal taste and creative flair, right down to the custom millwork.
“When you arrive, you’re overwhelmed by how beautiful it is,” she says, adding that the home is ” … stunning but also warm and [with] textures and layers of style.”
What’s the plan?
The entry foyer leads into the 18.11 x 21 square-foot living room anchored by a marble fireplace, which lead to a long dining room with garden-facing French doors on one side and tree-themed mural covering a wall of closets on the other. A small hallway leads to a 16.4 x 17.5 library line with built-in shelves and overlooking the back yard. The mudroom includes laundry facilities and leads to the attached two-car garage. A wing to the right of the foyer leads to the 16.10 x 16.10 primary bedroom suite, which includes an office area. Stairs lead to a generously sized landing with built-in window seating, and the second floor is dedicated to two more ensuite bedrooms of near-equal size, a second bedroom of 17 x17 and a flexible space (nursery) of 19 x 12.11. The lower level is “a world into itself” says Landey, with a gym, 33.11 x 33.5 media/living room, bar area, a separate kitchen area and a 15.4 x 24.9 bedroom. There are additional laundry facilities and a full bathroom.
What’s cooking?
The dining room arch opens into the kitchen, which is anchored by a center island seating four. The custom cabinetry is in muted tones of green and blue; the island is topped with butcher block and the primary counters with stone. The appliance suite includes Wolf and Sub-Zero.
What else?
“The landscaping is a true hero here,” Landey says, calling out the dense plantings, including Lebanese cedars, Asian pines and gingko. “It is extensive and expansive, with trees and shrubs in bloom at different times. It was landscaped to look like it’s been there forever and has a real estate quality to it.” The adjacent lot includes walking paths and can be further developed in a few ways: as more garden space or recreational courts, or with new construction.
Amenities and more
- 14 x 42 swimming pool and spa
- Outdoor shower
- Standalone Scandinavian sauna
- Media room and wet bar

One cool thing
Two rooms in particular stand out as creative jewel boxes: the small butler’s pantry painted in carmine red, which Landey calls “a place to display your treasured appliances” and a bathroom tiled floor-to-ceiling (and floor!) with deep blue Moorish-themed patterns and brass doors to the shower.
Agent’s callout
“What makes this compelling is the combination of elements that are hard to find together, says Landey. “You can find some in some listings but this has an extremely high editorial-level design, significant acreage and future development potential.”
Location, location, location
Located down a long, private driveway set off from the road, the home is equidistant, 3.8 miles, from East Hampton and Sag Harbor. Numerous recreation and green spaces are nearby: Two Holes of Water Park, Linda Gronlund Memorial Nature Preserve, Northwest Harbor County Park, Havens Beach and the Sag Harbor Golf Course.
