Lookin’ to have a howlin’ Halloween? Then, you’re in luck, creepy compatriot, for there are a great deal of delightfully devilish goings-on sure to satisfy all All Hallow’s Eve inklings, for both you and your little ghouls (if you have them!).

Southampton Town

A Halloween Bash is at the Children’s Museum of the East End (376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton, 631-537-8250) this Friday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. All families with children ages 2 to 8, the afternoon-into-evening bash will be filled with creepy crafts, games, prizes and a costume contest. $25 admission, $5 for members. Additionally, on Wednesday, Oct. 28, CMEE hosts “Baby’s First Halloween,” from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Perfect for littles from two months old through 16 months old, the event is a celebration of how stinkin’ cute your little boo is. Light refreshments will be served for grownups. $20 admission, free for members.

The 27th Bridgehampton Lions Carving Contest will be held at the Bridgehampton Museum / Corwith House (across from the Community House) on Sunday, Oct. 26, starting at 5 p.m. It’s open to all ages, free to enter, and free to see, but you can’t win unless you bring a carved pumpkin or squash-like life form to enter in the contest. There’s no carving taking place at this event, so be sure to bring your finished submission. The judging happens when it’s dark, so it’s important to be sure your entry glows and your candles are lit before the judges come by. Natural candlelight seems to be the way to go, but other safe lighting sources are acceptable.

Sag Harbor’s annual Ragamuffin Parade, brought to us by the village’s chamber of commerce, is on Sunday, Oct. 26, beginning at 1 p.m. Parade participants should line up on Nassau Street (near the laundromat) and parade down Main Street to the Custom House lawn for a family fun day of game, activities and dance music. Just down the road, at The Church (48 Madison St.), from 2 to 4 p.m. it’s the second annual “Spooky Palooza,” a spirited Halloween celebration that features a collaboration with the cinema and Bay Street. On actual Halloween, don’t miss a red carpet dance party with Scary-Oke from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bay Street Theater (1 Long Wharf). On Saturday, Nov. 1, or Sunday, Nov. 2, the Sag Harbor Cinema hosts a matinee screening of Monster House at 11 a.m., complete with a free popcorn. For more details, click here. A Halloween Community Bash is at Old Whalers’ Church (44 Union St., Sag Harbor) on Thursday, Oct. 30, beginning at 4 p.m. Bring a carved jack-o-lantern to light the steps at the iconic Sag Harbor locale, and enjoy singing, dancing, snacks and fun for everyone! A costume parade will march through the sanctuary while the organist plays the famous Bach Tocatta and Fugue in D minor. A spooktacular night of fun, for the whole community.

Water Mill’s Calissa (1020 Montauk Highway, 631-500-9292) celebrates in style with its annual Costumes & Cocktails party. Set for Halloween proper (Friday, Oct. 31) beginning at 5 p.m., the evening kicks off with a live DJ and dancing. Festive and lively, the bar will be open late (until 2 a.m.) and guests who arrive in costume will be treated to a complimentary glass of bubbles. Spirited, seasonal specials and hot cocktails will be offered throughout the night. Book your reservation here.

Don your best disco dress and head to a disco-themed Halloween party at K Pasa (2 Main St., Sag Harbor, 631-800-8226) on Thursday, Oct. 30. Set to happen from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., the night will include prizes for best dressed and best moves, so be sure to wear your dancing shoes… or platforms if you’re staying on theme.

Southampton Arts Center (25 Jobs Lane, Southampton, 631-283-9067) hosts its Halloween Silent Disco on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. Featuring Quiet Events’ LED headphones and three music channels to choose from, all are welcome to dance ‘til their dead in celebration of the spooky season. Costumes are highly encouraged, as prizes will be rewarded to those donning their Halloween best in the kids and adult costume contests, featuring a raffle for all kinds of locally sourced goodies. Tickets in advance are $20 per person, $15 or members, $5 for children under 12 years old. At the door, tickets are $20 for everyone except kids. Fun is expected to last until 10 p.m.

East Hampton Town

Gather your little ghouls and goblins for “Halloween at the East Hampton Library,” this Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sure to be spooky fun for everyone, there’ll be a costume contest judging at noon with prizes awarded to most creative, spooky and original. Pumpkin decorating will be available for kids along with games and spooky crafts for all ages. Snag a scary photo against a frightfully fun backdrop or enjoy a Halloween move for all ages. Face painting will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and there’ll be a re-telling of haunted history happenings with village historian Hugh King at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Reading Room. Brownie baking contest and pumpkin carving contest winners will be drawn (submit entries for both by Friday, Oct. 24). Library is located at 159 Main St. in East Hampton. On Saturday, get ready for a hauntingly good time at Guild Hall’s Halloween Silent Disco Dance Party — where three DJs, three channels, and one unforgettable night of beats collide! From 7 to 10 p.m., slip on your glowing headphones, show off your best costume, and choose your frequency… if you dare. The Annual Solé East Halloween Party is this Saturday, located at 90 Second House Road in Montauk. Known for drawing a fun crowd and delivering an unforgettable night, the party will feature a special musical guest, complimentary bar bites and festive drink specials. Guests can also enter the costume contest for a chance to win a free weekend stay at the resort and other prizes. Get into the spirit with your favorite furry friend at “Canines in Costume,” at LongHouse Reserve (133 Hands Creek Road, 631-326-3568) in East Hampton this Saturday. From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., this beloved fall tradition, done in partnership with ARF Hamptons, brings people and pups together for a morning of costumed camaraderie and spirited community fun as dogs are welcome to romp on the great lawn and get treats for their tricks. Cats in costume are welcome, as long as they stay in their carriers. Tickets are $35 per person, $25 for members. The dogs and cats can get in for free.

“Vampire Masquerade,” a night of creepy fun, is on Thursday, Oct. 30, beginning at 7 p.m. at LTV Studios (75 Industrial Road, Wainscott, 631-537-2777). Designed for adults and teens 13 and older, the night features a screening of the movie Night along with a DJ-fueled dance party afterward. Come in costume to be entered into the costume contest and door prize raffle. Free cherry mocktail is included with ticket; dinner and dessert options will be offered for sale by Queen Bee Bakes. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults in advance, $35 at the door. Students are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

Shelter Island

Think you’re the spookiest, cookiest brain on Shelter Island? Well, you’ll get your chance to prove it on Oct. 31 with a special Halloween Trivia Night, with the one and only Think Inc. Trivia.
