Welcome to December, South Forkers.
In a lot of ways, it really is the most wonderful time of the year, as locals put out all the stops for looking (and acting) their holiday best. Fun times to be had by all for this weekend ahead include a good amount of holiday markets to not only get that special, unique gift for that certain someone, but to support a local business that’s probably trying to survive now that winter is here.
If you’re still full from Thanksgiving and not quite ready for all the holly jolly Christmas fun to be shoved down your throat just yet, we get it.
This weekend opt for a chill time and take in some jazz at the Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor this Friday night. Make it dinner and a show and grab some on-site grub while enjoying the music. Or, if you’ve got a bunch of kids that are still riding that sugar high from all the pumpkin pie last week, let them get some of that energy out at SYS in Southampton during a glow-in-the-dark sporting extravaganza.
However you decide to spend your weekend, stay safe, stay classy, stay warm and don’t forget that the days will start to get longer in less than three weeks.
