Tequila and fresh apples? Yes, please! (Photo courtesy of Pantalones Tequila)

You came here expecting your weekly cocktail recipe — but you will leave with the answer to that October conundrum: What will I wear for Halloween?

Matthew and Camila McConaughey dressed up as their very own tequila last year, which made the rounds on Instagram because, well, it was funny! A movie star and his beautiful spouse walking around in giant bottle costumes and subsequently sipping their spirit, Pantalones Organic Tequila. Be they McConaughey-hey fans or tequila lovers, the costume got a lot of love on Internet. So this year? You too can dress like your favorite bottle of the popular agave-based liquor.

Hit up the Pantalones website to buy your fave — silver or blanco ($34.99 each) — or couple it up for $74.99.

As to the tequila itself and the reason we’re here — cocktails! — you can grab the unaged and aged versions at S & L Wines and Liquors in Speonk, the Sag Harbor Liquor Store, Bridgehampton Wine Cellar, BottleHampton in Southampton and Hampton Bays Wine & Spirits. Grab a bottle, a favorite bottle of fresh apple cider (we do love a Milk Pail stop!) and get shakin’.
