This weekend sees a good chunk of Hamptons locales turning out some pretty serious artsy-centric action. Thespians, dancers, musicians and art collectors showcasing their unique, stand-alone collection are all front and center while a handful of Hamptons foodies showcase some of their great work, both in the kitchen and beyond. Here’s a little taste of what’s cookin’ this weekend:

Stock up on family style hummus

Peter Som, cookbook author, fashion designer and lifestyle expert, will be launching a limited time collaboration with Amber Waves (367 Main St., 631-267-5664) in Amagansett this weekend. Recently, Som released his debut cookbook “Family Style: Elegant Everyday Recipes Inspired by Home and Heritage,” containing 100 chic recipes that pay homage to his roots. At Amber Waves, his carrot gochujang hummus will be available all weekend long for a pick up at the farm shop while supplies last.

Paint, sip, rock out at Clubhouse

All ages are welcome to The Clubhouse (174 Daniels Hole Road, East Hampton, 631-537-2695) tonight on the lawn for a paint and sip with April Keough from 6 to 8 p.m. No experience is needed and all supplies will be provided. $40 per person. Additionally, there’ll be a slew of free-to-attend musical acts at Clubhouse starting tonight with DJ Angelica Morrow spinning in the beer garden from 6 to 9 p.m. Tomorrow, July 25, it’s the Smoking Gun Band, part of Clubhouse’s “Country Night” series, performing from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 26, Deep Donkey performs from 6 to 9 p.m. while Sarah Conway and the Playful Souls round out the weekend with “Locals Night” set in the beer garden this Sunday night from 6 to 9 p.m.

Hear songs and stories at LTV

LTV Studios (75 Industrial Road, Wainscott, 631-537-2777) hosts “The Music of Joe Delia” tomorrow night starting at 7:30 p.m. Award-winning film composer and blues singer, Delia will be on hand to perform and tell stories with film to stir up the senses. General admission is $30 in advance, $35 at the door. “Hirschfeld’s Broadway: Songs and Stories,” part of the Hamptons Summer Songbook by the Sea series, this Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Featuring cabaret stars Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano, sure to fill the evening with songs and stories of the storied Al Hirschfeld, American caricaturist best known for his black and white portraits of celebrities and Broadway stars. Hosted by David Leopold, creative director of The Al Hirschfeld Foundation, tickets start at $60.

Boogie down in Westhampton Beach

The eighth annual Westhampton Beach Project is tomorrow and Saturday on the Great Lawn in the hamlet’s downtown. For tomorrow, attendees can enjoy the musical stylings of Colucci Orchestrta and Frank Pisani, along with vocalist Rhonda Denet. Additionally , there’ll be Gallim Dane, Michael Jackson Jr. from Alvin Ailey Dance and ValeTango Dance. On Saturday, it’s Parsons Dance. Performances are free, start at 8:30 p.m. and are open to the public. There is VIP seating available for a $20 donation as well as additional VIP tent entry, which includes cocktails, appetizers and prime seating starting at 6 p.m. for a minimum of $60 donation.

See a pro art collector’s collection in Southampton

This Saturday, Southampton Arts Center (25 Jobs Lane, 631-283- 0967) hosts an opening reception for “Beyond the Present: Collecting for the Future,” the Christine Mack Art Collection. Curated by Christina Strassfield and Natasha Schlesinger, the event highlights the dynamic collection of art curator, philanthropist, and collector Mack, who actively made it her mission to seek out, meet with, collect and support the young voices of our time. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m.

On a fallen Sag Harbor soldier

Jordan’s Run Veterans’ Memorial 5K Run/Walk is on Sunday in Sag Harbor, kicking off at Pierson High School (200 Jermain Ave.) at 8:30 a.m. Check in is from 7 to 8 a.m., with an opening ceremony is at 8 a.m. sharp. The race is in honor of Jordan Haerter, a Sag Harbor resident who was killed in Iraq in April of 2008. He was 19 when he died. Money raised at the 5K benefits In Jordan’s Honor, an organization started by Haerter’s mother, JoAnn, which helps support veterans across the nation as well as Tunnel To Towers, Carry The Load, The National Museum for The Marine Corps, and Fisher House. The race is $30 to participate, $35 day-of. Click here to sign up.

Support our local kids

Project MOST, a nonprofit community learning center, holds its “Building Blocks Summer Benefit” is this Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Moby’s (341 Pantigo Road, East Hampton). Featuring an afternoon of celebration and opportunity to support scholarships, learning programs and advocates that continue to make Project MOST a cornerstone of youth enrichment in the community, this year’s special honorees are Cindy (a longtime tutor and teaching assistant) and Joe Realmuto (Joe served as a board director for the organization and created the Empty Bowls fundraiser) for their unwavering commitment to the organization. See a classic story performed as a ballet

Hampton Ballet Theatre School performs the delightful classic “Peter and the Wolf” starting this Sunday at LTV in Wainscott. Additionally, there will be a performance on Thursday, July 31, at the Children’s Museum of the East End (376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike). The production is a collaboration between the school, the Hampton Festival Orchestra and narrator Josh Gladstone. Sunday’s performance at LTV includes two shows at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m., respectively. For the show at CMEE next Thursday, the times are the same. Tickets are $30 for kids, $35 for adults for this Sunday’s performance.
