Doubles, the beloved casual Caribbean-inspired eatery set back in the Amagansett Square, opened a second location in Sag Harbor, in the space that used to house What the Falafel.

Tucked away off of Division Street next to Nikki’s Not Dog Stand, the outpost is currently serving an abridged version of its Amagansett flagship’s menu, with rotis and jerk chicken remaining at the heart of the offerings.

Available for to-go or delivery, as it stands now, there are two breakfast items available (served until 11:30 a.m.), as well as a trio of smoothies, a smash burger (with either a single patty or double), a mahi mahi sandwich, jerk chicken (either available in sandwich or bowl form), a couple of salads and a basic yet more than adequate kids menu. About half a dozen sides plus myriad dipping sauces are also available.

Word on the street is that doubles — the popular street food consisting of two pieces of fried flatbread filled with curried chickpeas, and the eatery’s namesake — will soon be coming to the Sag Harbor spot, to help beef up the currently concise menu.

Doubles, located at 51 Division Street in Sag Harbor, is open Monday through Saturday fro 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. They’re current closed on Sundays, with the hope to be open seven days a week come August.
