Cold plunging isn’t exactly new. Evidence of devotees of cryotherapy can be found as far back as the fourth century B.C., with Hippocrates himself extolling upon the beneficial virtues of cold-water immersion and therapy, writing in his work “On Airs, Water and Places” that “the water can cure everything.”
