Looking for some new South Fork dining options? There are plenty to get to know in 2019. This summer, a variety of new restaurants debuted in the Hamptons. Here’s the inside scoop on some of what’s new in the neighborhood.

Bostwick’s on the Harbor

This popular Hamptons seafood restaurant is opening a second (grander) location this summer. Look for raw bar selections, such as clams on the half shell, oysters on the half shell and tuna crudo. Appetizers include garlicky mussels, steamers and a beet and goat cheese salad, while entrees include steamed lobster, lobster rolls and Bostwick’s famous seafood pasta.

Bel Mare Ristorante

Making its debut at the former Michael’s Restaurant at the Maidstone in East Hampton, Bel Mare will have prominent chef Luigi Del Conte in the kitchen. Look for traditional Italian dishes, pizza and a robust to-go menu. Notable dishes include shrimp and scallop Sambuca and veal Luigi.

Brooklyn Chop House

The downtown Manhattan eatery is popping up at the Capri Hotel in Southampton, offering House offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with a focus on steaks alongside Asian fare like dumplings and Peking duck. Poolside lunch and brunch options are also available. Some must-tries include: shrimp and lobster satay, grilled 18oz filet mignon and Alaskan King Crab legs for two with garlic, scallions and ginger.

Brooklyn Chop House is located at 281 County Rd 39A, Southampton

Coche Comedor

The team behind Honest Man Restaurant Group, that oversees such Hamptons mainstays as Nick & Toni’s and Rowdy Hall, have launched Coche Comedor, which features regional Mexican cuisine inspired by local products. A wood burning grill and rotisserie will produce roasted chickens, meats and seafood all paired with house-made tortillas. Other highlights include a raw bar and tableside guacamole. A lively bar offers a large selection of tequilas and mezcals with an emphasis on margaritas. Coche will be open Wednesday through Sunday and will serve brunch on weekends.

The Garden at Water Mill

The Garden features an expansive outdoor garden with lawn games, private dining alcoves and space for family-style lobster bakes. American summer fare will be the focus on the menu, including crudos, shared bites and barbecue plates, along with cocktails and an extensive wine list. Look out for featured pop up events all summer long.

Morty’s Oyster Stand

Morty’s will open for lunch and dinner daily at the site of the former Cyril’s on the Napeague stretch. The casual and refined restaurant and bar will offer sustainable seafood and coastal cuisine. Dishes to know include the white and summer squash ceviche, olive oil steamed mussels and lobster mac and cheese. Highlighted desserts are grilled pineapple with black sesame and coconut caramel, and a BBC Ice Cream sandwich.

Morty’s Oyster Stand is located at 2167 Montauk Hwy, Amagansett
