Rosé lovers can rest easy this summer: Instagram star “The Fat Jewish” is on a crusade to make sure the East End doesn’t suffer a shortage of the pink drink of summer again this year.
Last year, we reported that Croteaux Vineyards in Southold, which exclusively makes rosé, sold out in August and Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack ran out of its wildly popular “Summer in a Bottle” before Labor Day.
Instagrammer The Fat Jewish, aka Josh Ostrovsky, told the New York Post he is creating his own brand called “White Girl” which features the tagline, “This is so us.”
“May we never almost encounter such a f–king travesty,” Ostrovsky told the Post. “We were right on the brink of disaster. What would’ve happened? We were running dangerously low.”
And for those watching what they eat, know that the wine is gluten-free.
“It’s everything free,” said Ostrovsky, who has amassed 4.1 million followers on the account where he lampoons everyone from Beyoncé to Jesus.
And if you are looking for a bottle, it will be available in New York, the Hamptons and out of the backseat of Ostrovsky’s car.
“Grab a bottle and pour it on yourself,” he said.
