News that star chef Tom Colicchio is leaving Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton (pictured above) has North Fork foodies speculating whether or not he would consider opening a North Fork restaurant. (Credit: File photo)

Who: Topping Rose House (visit site)

What: Farmer’s Market

Where: Bridgehampton (map it)

When: Saturday, Jan. 18 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Why: Because there’s tons of goods being sold by local vendors at an amazing location as part of something being dubbed Winter Game Weekend, which involves a game dinner prepared and served in a barn by culinary star Tom Colicchio.

Plenty of North Fork vendors will be making the trip south of the Peconic for the market.

Below is a list of vendors, including jewelry by our own Claire Jacobs. #shamelessplug

If you’re game enough and there’s space still available, stick around for the game dinner prepared by Mr. Colicchio, a part-time North Fork resident. Here’s what Topping Rose House has to say about that:

Enjoy a wintry weekend in the country that kicks off with a Game Dinner in the Barn cooked by Tom Colicchio on Saturday, January 18th.  Each course on the $195 menu, featuring game like wood pigeon, partridge, duck and venison, will be paired with wine from Shinn Estate.  Please email Eliza Nordeman for reservations.  Seats at Saturday’s dinner are guaranteed for hotel guests.
