The cannabis industry is booming, including here in the Hamptons, and in particular, throughout the town of Southampton.
Up until a couple of years ago there were no legal cannabis dispensaries apart from those pre-existing on the Shinnecock Reservation. Now, several have sprung up, cementing the East End as a hot spot for curated cannabis experiences. Here are some of our favorites:

Owned by Marquis Hayes, a former sous chef at The Laundry and WD-50 in New York City, and yogi/social worker/certified psychotherapist Kim Stetz, the store’s name is a play on Hayes’s gourmet brown butter business. Smooth, right? With an ethos of wellness at its core, Brown Budda looks to be a modern pharmacy for the masses, with the idea of cannabis as a medicinal cure for several ailments. The Hamptons Collective, 257 County Road 39, Southampton, 631-800-7275
The newest member to the Hamptons cannabis cache, the Southampton-based spot — owned by brothers Matthew and Ben Goldberg — opened just over a month ago. With the mission of being ingrained in the local community while offering a bespoke yet ample selection of topicals, tinctures, concentrates, pre-rolls, flower, beverages, vaporizers, THC (see what they did there?) delivers all across the Hamptons.

Tucked along the main drag in Tuckahoe, Charlie Fox is a modern apothecary, but reimagined, and with a hospitality take towards cannabis at the front and center of it all. Co-owned by Julia Levi and James Mallios, the budding boutique carries premium brands of pre-rolls, edibles, tinctures, topicals, beverages and concentrates, along with oodles of unique merch and accessories. Hampton Premium Green, 978 Montauk Highway, Water Mill, 631-249-9105
Owned by Ashley and Albert Caparo, the husband-and-wife couple that designed the heavily curated shop to carry over 370 hand-selected products from the best growers and brands in New York. Set inside a restored circa-1780 farmhouse on Montauk Highway, this dispensary offers a bit of history mixed with a hit of luxury and modern wellness. Delivers to all the Hamptons, Riverhead and beyond. Open from 8 to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
