Winter is certainly wintering.

And it doesn’t show signs of stopping, as another snowy weather event is scheduled to hit us again this weekend. Even though arctic temperatures and buckets of snow persist, there’s still plenty of hot fun to be had across the Hamptons to help hoard off any case of cabin fever.

As always, stay safe out there, South Forkers. Only 51 more days until the official start of spring. We know that doesn’t necessarily mean the weather will improve, but here’s hoping.

Heat up your music scene at The Avram

Join in for the next concert in the Jazz Loft @ Southampton series — Chiara Izzi Quartet: Colors of Brazil & Italy — tonight at 7:00 p.m. at The Avram at Stony Brook Southampton. Izzi, an acclaimed jazz vocalist and composer brings her quartet to Southampton for a vibrant program celebrating the rich musical exchange between Brazil and Italy during the 1960s and 1970s. Tickets are $36.

Learn about a dance icon and local photog at The Church

Today, The Church (48 Madison St., Sag Harbor, 631-919-5342) reopens its regular exhibition hours, now that the winter storm is over (for now!), starting at 11 a.m. The exhibit on view currently is “Martha Graham: Collaborations.” Tomorrow, Jan. 30, local photographer Lindsay Morris will be on hand for conversation, particularly about her project “Camp I Am,” at 5 p.m. Tickets are $15, $10 for members. On Saturday, The Church hosts a screening of “Martha Graham: The Dancer Revealed,” at 5 p.m., followed by a Q&A with executive producer Susan Lacy. Tickets are $15, $10 for members. On Sunday, Feb. 1, “Still, Small Voice,” a monthly gathering for reflection and contemplative sharing, is at 10 a.m. Learn more here.

Make it to a poetry workshop at Ma’s House

“You Are Who I Love” poetry workshop, led by resident artist Laetitia Keok, is at Ma’s House (159 Old Point Road, Southampton, 631-566-0486) tomorrow night from 6 to 9 p.m. Exploring the naming, lineage and community through shared readings and generative prompts that frame poem-making as a practice of care, the workshop will also include readings of poems by Lena Khalaf Tuffaha, Aracelis Girmay, Natalie Wee and more. Hear about the history of East Hampton

The 2026 launch for the East Hampton Library’s Tom Twomey Series launches tomorrow night at 7 p.m. “Landmarks and Legends: East Hampton Unveiled” will be led by lecturer David Cataletto, uncovering the rich history behind East Hampton’s names while exploring how Native American, African and European influences shaped the town’s landmarks, places and roads. Lecture to will be held at the library (159 Main St., 631-324-0222).

Get jazzed up in Sag Harbor

Tomorrow night at 7 p.m., at the Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor (200 Main St.) Hamptons JazzFest hosts “Unity Through Sound,” a live jazz performance. Featuring pianist Benito Gonzalez, percussion player Carlos Carly Maldonado, bassist Gregg August and sax player Oscar Feldman, the evening is hosted by MC and drummer Claes Brondal. Tickets are $20. Guests may also enjoy on-site dinner offerings from Party Perfectionists. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.

Support ARF and artists

Halsey McKay Gallery (79 Newtown Lane, East Hampton) hosts a silent auction and adoption event for ARF Hamptons, with an opening reception tomorrow from 2 to 6 p.m. Starting tomorrow, dogs available for adoption will be at gallery from 2 to 3:30 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 31, from noon to 2 p.m., and on Sunday, Feb. 1, from noon to 2 p.m. Bidding for the silent auction, featuring artwork from over 40 artists, begins at the gallery and goes live online at artsy.net.

Finish a rockin’ January with Nancy Atlas

The last of the Nancy Atlas Fireside Sessions is this Saturday, Jan. 31, at Bay Street Theater (1 Long Wharf, Sag Harbor, 631-725-9500) at 8 p.m. Joining Atlas on stage is Jonny Rosch, vocalist, keyboardist, guitarist, harmonica player and songwriter that’s provided his audiences with sinfully soulful tunes for the last four decades. Dubbed “Soul Sonic Love,” tickets to the performance start at $44 and are available here.

Bust a gut at Sticks and Stones

Paul Ollinger headlines Sticks and Stones Comedy Club (25 Pond Lane, Southampton, 917-855-4828) this Saturday night at 8 p.m. Ollinger is the host of acclaimed podcast “Reasonably Happy,” where he explores the connection between money, happiness, work and meaning in conversation with some of the world’s most interesting people. Notable guests have included Judd Apatow, LL Cool J, Moby and winners of the Nobel Prize. He’s also been at the Comedy Cellar, West Side Comedy Club in NYC, and as a headliner at a show during the New York Comedy Festival. Attendees to Saturday’s Southampton show will be able to enjoy snacks, drinks and live music beforehand. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $40.25.
