Halloween is tomorrow and the East End is gearing up or a ghoulish good time, offering fun for all ages at a slew of Hamptons locales.

But, if Halloween really isn’t your bag, then don’t worry, for there’s a whole itinerary of interesting goings-on sure to keep you culturally satisfied in the days to come.

Toast to 50 years of Rocky Horror, and other Halloween happenings

Dress to time warp and head to Southampton Playhouse (43 Hill St., Southampton, 631-339-9069) for a screening of the cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight at 9:30 p.m. It’s been 50 years since the comedy/horror/musical flick like no other first graced the silver screen and if you’ve never seen it, there’s no better East End opportunity than this. Plus, it’s the debut film for the one-and-only sweet transvestite himself, Tim Curry, so get there and see it! Isola on Shelter Island (15 Grand Ave., 631-749-9036) is having a Halloween party tomorrow, featuring an all-day happy hour, live music from 7 to 10 p.m., and karaoke starting at 10. There’ll also be a costume contest, so be sure to dress to impress. For the kids, don’t miss Sag Harbor’s annual Pumpkin Trail is tomorrow, Oct. 31, with trick-or-treaters able to score some candy throughout the village’s business district from 3 to 5 p.m. For some more ghoulish good times in honor of All Hallow’s Eve, click here.

View rare books and fine arts in Sag Harbor

Open since June of this year, Shooster Arts & Literature, located at the Chandlery Building (197 Madison St., Sag Harbor), contains a gallery of fine arts and rare books, with a distinct collection of over 300 works by artists, writers, and designers. Starting today and continuing through Nov. 16, on Saturdays and Sundays, there’ll be on view, by appointment only. Book an appointment by emailing [email protected]. Hours will be from noon to 5 p.m.

Enjoy soulful jazz at The Avram

“The Art & Soul of Rhythm & Blues” — the next concert in the Jazz Loft @ Southampton concert series — is tonight at 7 p.m. at The Avram at Stony Brook Southampton (70 Tuckahoe Road, Southampton, 631-632-8000). The performance brings together an ensemble of internationally acclaimed artists: vocalist Joy Brown, tenor sax player Dayna Stephens, pianist Miki Hayama, drummer Darrell Smith and bassist Dean Jonhnson. Get down at a Wainscott Disco Ball

Our Fabulous Variety Show hosts a Disco Ball this Saturday, Nov. 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at LTV Studios in Wainscott (75 Industrial Road, 631-537-2777). Honoring Julienne Penza-Boone (executive director of Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center ) and Anthony Madonna (theater director and curator of performing arts at Guild Hall), and hosted by Gianna Volpe, the evening will include dancing, raffles (check out some of the prizes here), bites and sips, and vocals by Angelina Milici, all while supporting OFVS’s scholarship fund. Head to Hampton Bays for a disability services resource fair

The 2nd Annual Disability Services Resource Fair is at the Hampton Bays Community Center (25 Ponquogue Ave.) this Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Brought to us by the Town of Southampton Disability Advisory Task Force, the fair includes presentations and informative vendor tables on community resources while offering a chance for attendees to connect with service providers, advocates and support groups. State and local community agencies and organizations that serve the Town of Southampton will be on-hand. Starts at noon and continues until 3 p.m. Over 20 local organizations will be there. Hear REEB, participate in an open mic at SCC

The next “East Meets West” Jazz Jam Session is at the Southampton Cultural Center (25 Pond Lane, Southampton, 631-287-4377) on Sunday, Nov. 2, from 2 to 5 p.m. Spearheaded by East End Jazz director and accomplished bassist Iris Ornig, the event will feature a special 35-minute performance by Real East End Brass, a New Orleans-style brass band, made up of musicians and educators based here on the East End. The performance will be followed by an open session where all musicians and singers are welcome to perform. Free to attend, free to perform!
