Author Victoria Erickson says, “August is the slow, gentle month that stretches out the longest across the span of a year.”

While summer always seems to fly by (and trust us, this year’s no different) there does seem to be a palpable stillness occurring lately across the Hamptons…during weekdays, of course. It’s hot, for sure, but its been pleasant, like the outside air giving you a warm, gentle, welcoming hug. It’s hectic out, sure, but we’ve noticed a slightly less hurried state in comparison to July. Could this be an indication of what’s to come? We can only hope!

Here’s a little taste of what’s going on this weekend to get hyped about.
