Did you beat the heat?

If so, no time like the present to celebrate! This last weekend of the June brings the Hamptons a bunch of cool benefits for some of our favorite locales, plus some top-notch comedic and musical acts. Also don’t forget to head to hear some of our own homegrown locals belting their best across the East End. And if you like classic cars, be sure to hit up Southampton Playhouse this Saturday evening for a cool show, followed by a screening of the latest Brad Pitt flick, “F1: The Movie.” If the heat comes back this weekend, the state-of the-art theater will be sure to keep you cool.

Rock out and laugh at WHBPAC

All are welcome to a show-stopping weekend of music, comedy and culture at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (76 Main St., Westhampton Beach, 631-288-1500) starting tonight. Kicking things off is “Pianofest in the Hamptons,” a celebrated summer festival-school that has trained over 500 pianists over the past 37 years. Starting at 7 p.m., audiences will experience a one-of-a-kind concert featuring emerging artists selected from elite music schools worldwide with a special performance by Juilliard faculty member and Hamptons favorite Konstantin Soukhovetski. Tomorrow, June 27, it’s Emmy-nominated comedian and writer Nimesh Patel taking the stage with comedy continuing on Saturday, June 28, with comedic powerhouse and funny woman Jessica Kirson. On Sunday, June 29, it’s Tony and Grammy Award winner John Lloyd Young, the original start of “Jersey Boys,” bringing his unforgettable voice to WHBPAC. See a new exhibit at Quogue Library

The gallery at the Quogue Library (90 Quogue St., Quogue, 631-653-4224 ext. 101) will showcase East Hampton-based artist Idoline Duke starting tomorrow. Duke, a former landscape designer, brings fantastical watercolors of the natural world to the exhibition, from magnified profiles of flowers to whimsical underwater worlds, to soaring depictions of the tree of life. An artist reception is on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m.

Tonight don’t miss karaoke, led by DJ Carlos Lama, at Almond in Bridgehampton (1 Ocean Road, 631-537-5665) starting at 9:30 p.m. Kidd Squid Brewing Co. (11 Spring St., 631-500-0533) in Sag Harbor hosts musicians Emily Weitz, Liz Joyce and Kate Albrecht, with special guest Jack Marshall, tomorrow, June 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. On Saturday, it’s Reilly Rose. “Tiny Feet, Big Futures” is the theme for this year’s benefit for Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center this Saturday night. Set to be held at Mulford Farm (10 James Lane, East Hampton) from 5:30 to 8 p.m., there will be live music, food, drinks, a silent auction and the awarding of the Eleanor Prize to former town supervisor and East Hampton native Peter Van Scoyoc. Also on Saturday, it’s Southampton Arts Center‘s fifth annual Whimsy: Motown Magic, the locale’s summer kick-off party and primary fundraising initiative. Starting at 6 p.m. at the center’s 25 Jobs Lane location , attendees can enjoy in yummy fare from Robbins Wolfe, cocktails, with live entertainment and dancing with That Motown Band. Catch a car show in Southampton

In honor of the new film “Fl: The Movie,” Rally Point East Car Show is partnering with the Southampton Playhouse (43 Hill St., Southampton, 631-399-9069) for a Hamptons car show at the theater’s parking lot this Saturday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Attendees can peruse through models, such as Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, BMW, Chevrolet, Corvette, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Jaguar, McLaren, Maserati, Porsche and more! There will also be raffles, food, activities, giveaways and lots of fun! Dance and play, after dark, at The Clubhouse

The Room at The Clubhouse (174 Daniels Hole Road, East Hampton, 631-537-2695) launches “Dance After Dark,” a new series this Saturday form 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Hosted by Matt Rubenstein, (whose family owns Clubhouse) guests will enjoy hits from the early 2000s, plus line dancing. The series will continue throughout the summer, with Saturday’s opening night admission being free.

Learn floral arranging with two lifelong friends and authors

The Madoo Conservancy (618 Sagg Main St, Sagaponack, 631-537-8200) will host “An Afternoon of Floral Artistry with Emily Thompson and Frances Palmer,” a flower arranging demonstration, reception and book signing. Set for noon on Sunday, June 29, join celebrated Thompson, author of Emily Thompson Flowers, and potter Frances Palmer, author of Frances Palmer: Life with Flowers, for an immersive afternoon of floral design and conversation on at Madoo. The live flower arranging demonstration followed by a reception and book signing. Tickets are $200 and include a signed copy of each author’s book: Emily Thompson Flowers and Frances Palmer: Life with Flowers. Learn the secrets of flower arranging from these two lifelong friends and collaborators. Both women share a love of nature and seasonal flowers, inspiring creatives worldwide.
