This weekend, it’s all about giving back to your fellow South Forker. Or, at least this opportunity is a good chance for celebrating them. Whether it’s through historical presentations, a local surfing merchandise swap and sale, or a wellness/relaxation retreat that focuses on mom and the mother types that exist in your life, we’ve got the skinny on how to large and in charge weekend.
Also, Guild Hall is hosting a performance of “Fuenteovejuna: East End,” a play that originates from Spain which was reimagined to take place right here on the East End and follows a group of townspeople working as a united front to fight against tyranny and oppression.
It’s a friendly reminder, maybe needed more than ever, that together we can do great things, even when the odds seem against us.
