A collaborative performance in honor of Prince. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of a literary classic. Eagerly awaiting the Easter Bunny. These are just some of the happenings happening across the Hamptons this weekend.

Spring hours go into effect this week at LongHouse Reserve (133 Hands Creek Road, East Hampton, 631-329-3568), now open Wednesday through Sunday from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Don’t forget to belt it out at Karaoke Saturdays at Almond (1 Ocean Road, Bridgehampton, 631-537-5665), hosted by DJ Carlos Lama, starting around 9:30 p.m. The Bridgehampton resto is offering 2 for 1 drinks after 10 p.m., so it’s really in your best interest to head there this weekend. We know times are tough. But Almond’s really good at making things a little bit nicer.

Celebrate the centennial of Gatsby in HB and WHB

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic “The Great Gatsby” was first published April 10, 1925. So, in honor of the iconic book’s birthday, tonight Hampton Bays Library (52 Ponquogue Ave., 631-728-6241) and Westhampton Free Library (7 Library Ave., 631-288-3335) are hosting a Zoom with author Martin Levinson for a fresh new look at the life — and sordid love life — of West Egg’s greatest character, Jay Gatsby. Figure out Whodunit in East Hampton

The third annual Hamptons Whodunit starts today in East Hampton, continuing through Sunday. A deep dive into the minds of those who write and craft some of the greatest mystery and true crime stories of our time, the festival is a village-wide affair with events happening at myriad venues including shops, restaurants, and cultural centers featuring panel discussions, historical tours, book signings, presentations and much more. A kickoff cocktail party is tonight at the Maidstone Club and the full schedule can be seen here.

File in for femme-forward films at LTV

“Women Rising: Stories of Strength and Change” continues at LTV Studios (75 Industrial Road, 631-537-2777) in Wainscott tomorrow, April 11, with presentations of “Footsteps on the Wind” and “No Fear, No Favor” beginning at 7:30 p.m. An extension of a films and stories series in honor of Women’s History Month, the films showcase women from diverse backgrounds that inspire hope for better futures as well as the tragic stories of unaccompanied child refugees. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. VIP Café seating is available for $35, which includes reserve front row seating and a drink ticket. $5 for students.

Honor The Purple One at Bay Street

Sag Harbor’s Bay Street Theater (1 Long Wharf, 631-725-9500) hosts “Kissed by a Prince: A Tribute to the Legendary Artist” is on Saturday at 8 p.m. Honoring one of the most profound artists to walk the Earth — Prince’s death date is April 21, 2016 — Saturday’s performance features an all-star lineup of local musicians ready to rock at the Sag Harbor locale. The collaborative effort includes guitarist Mike Mazzaraco, vocalist Carolina Kohn, Bill Smith from Conga Cartel, drummer Kevin Santacroce, bassist Al Buonanno and percussionist Paul Gianni from Booga Sugar. Have some Easter-themed fun at CMEE

Welcome spring with the Children’s Museum of the East End (376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, Bridgehampton, 631-537-8250), as they’ve hatched a party plan that’s hard to beat! An egg hunt for kids is this Saturday, April 12, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.  Youngsters will design and decorate their own flowerpots while planting spring flowers and searching for “eco” eggs containing treats and other goodies that are hidden around the museum. There’s a good chance the Easter Bunny will be hopping around, too, so be prepared for some egg-cellent good times! Perfect for children ages 2 to 8 years old. $30 to participate/$10 for members.

Make art with your kids at SAC

The studio at Southampton Arts Center (25 Jobs Lane, 631-283-0967) hosts Adult + Child art class led by Deborah Acquino this Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon. Young artists, along with their adult companions, will have the opportunity to explore their creativity while learning new artistic techniques with different mediums. For ages 5 and older, and please bring your own apron or smock if you feel the need. All art supplies are included. $35, $30 for members (which includes admission for one parent and one child), $15 for additional child or parent.

Have a nighttime hike with SOFO

South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center (377 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, 631-537-9735) in Bridgehampton hosts a “Full Pink Moon Hike” with Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt this Saturday night beginning at 8 p.m. Led by Jean McDermott, the hike celebrates the Pink Moon, named for the herb moss pink or wild ground phlox, which is one of the earliest widespread flowers of spring. Talk native plants with HAH in Bridgehampton

On Sunday, April 13, head to the Bridgehampton Community House (2375 Montauk Highway) for a lecture on native plants dubbed “Knockout Natives” and hosted by the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons. Led by Sam Hoadley, manager of Horticultural Research at Mt. Cuba Center in Hockessin, Del., the talk highlights knockout native species and cultivars from their trials. Hoadley will discuss the plants’ horticultural and ecological performances, sharing important information on standouts that will make beautiful additions to your at-home garden. Admission to the talk is $10.
