While we’re all counting down the days ‘til Christmas and Hanukkah happen, South Forkers are both ringing in the holidays right and keeping things entertaining for all inhabitants of the Hamptons.

On the holiday celebration side of the coin, don’t miss the Hampton Theatre Company’s live radio play of A Christmas Carol, which opens tomorrow night at their Quogue location. The Church in Sag Harbor hosts its very own holiday party and The Suffolk in Riverhead features a rockin’ Rockabilly Christmas concert (because a little bit country and a little bit rock ‘n’ roll never hurts). There’s a tour of East Hampton Town inns and historic sites throughout East Hampton and Amagansett and a jazzy holiday concert is at Canoe Place Inn.

If you’re looking for some non-holiday related fun, don’t miss a chance to get outside with the South Fork Natural History Museum with a couple of hikes. Attend a special pancake breakfast in Southampton to help support Hamptons Community Outreach, a nonprofit organization with a mission to assist locals living in poverty. Contrary to popular belief, there are plenty of people living in the Hamptons that are deprived of basic necessities. Regardless of whether you acknowledge the holiday season or not, they’re still struggling, so if you can swing it, donate.
