Where did October go? Seriously, it was just Labor Day, right?! As we tie up this month with a big orange and black bow, there’s plenty of ghoulish good fun to be had as the South Fork gears up for Halloween festivities tonight and tomorrow. If you feel so inclined to party like a rockstar in honor of All Hallow’s Eve, be sure to hit up Sag Harbor tonight, as some of the old whaling village’s most happening haunts (see what we did there?) host on-theme fetes filled with frightfully good times.
Take a historical walk down memory lane at the John Jermain Library (also in Sag Harbor) as they dust off their delicate but oh-so-delightful archives or, if you’re feeling musical, go to LTV in Wainscott for a concert staging of a new dramatic play set during World War I.
If this weekend comes and you’re looking to get out of your candy-induced coma, head to Hampton Bays for a slew of easy-to-access yoga classes. Also, don’t miss a community health fair, hosted by the East Hampton Healthcare Foundation, offering a slew of information and services. It’s free, so don’t be scared to check it out. After all, health is wealth and we think it’s never too late to start practicing good habits. Namaste, South Forkers!
