Method
Simple Syrup
- In a small sauce pot, combine the sugar and water over medium-low heat.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved and syrup begins to thicken slightly, about 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Golden Sour
- Add the egg white into a cocktail shaker. Dry shake (aka, without ice) for 20 seconds, or until egg white is emulsified and frothy.
- Add in ice and all other liquid ingredients. Shake for another 10 to 15 seconds.
- Strain into an ice-filled double rocks glass. Toast to the cinematic winners and getting rid of snakes, wherever they lie in wait.
