The Arts Center at Duck Creek is pleased to present the Yvonne Rogers Quartet on Thursday, August 14 at 6 PM, as part of our 2025 New Music Series, curated by Peter Watrous.

Yvonne Rogers is a pianist, composer, and multimedia artist from Maine, now based in Brooklyn. Called a “fresh, new voice on piano” (Paul Acquaro, The Free Jazz Collective), she has performed at top venues and festivals around the world including the Jazz Gallery, the Blue Note, Mezzrow, NYC Winter Jazz Fest, Porgy and Bess (AT), and the Kennedy Center.
Rogers is a 2024 Next Jazz Legacy Awardee, a prestigious grant recognizing outstanding women in jazz, founded by Terri Lyne Carrington and facilitated by New Music USA. Her 2023 debut album Seeds (Relative Pitch Records) explores community, risk-taking, and creative release. Deeply rooted in improvisation and inspired by the natural rhythms of her rural Maine upbringing, Rogers’ music invites play and openness.
