Join us in the Front Row for a fascinating discussion on the current state of art in America with Kristy Edmunds, the director of MASS MoCA. Kristy Edmunds will discuss the importance of working collaboratively with artists as well as the role community plays in establishing art centers that are truly engaging, and serve to establish a sense of belonging and connection to the world. Edmunds brings her experience at UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance as well as her tenure as Artistic Director for the Melbourne Arts Festival to the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, continuing their robust tradition of celebrating evocative art in all forms: music, sculpture, dance, film, painting, photography, theater, and new, boundary-crossing works of art that defy easy classification.

Wine and refreshments will be served.
