American painter, sculptor, conceptual
artist and creator of the Apology Line who lived during second half of the 20th
century. On display December 3, 2024 through January 9, 2025. Bridge
was a second-generation color field painter who painted large canvases and experimented
with a wide variety of geometric forms. His life and work on the Apology
Line were the subject of a seven-episode podcast on the Wondery Network in 2021.
