Guild Hall (158 Main Street, East Hampton) is thrilled to announce it will host Rufus Wainwright in Concert on Sunday, September 1, at 7 PM. Wainwright will perform songs from his extensive catalog, and this performance will mark his solo debut at Guild Hall. The show, specially curated for the venue, will feature a visual component conceived by the Italian visual artist and painter Gioele Amaro.
Praised by The New York Times for his “genuine originality,” Rufus Wainwright has established himself as one of the great male vocalists, songwriters, and composers of his generation. The New York-born, Montreal-raised singer/songwriter has collaborated with artists from Elton John and Burt Bacharach, to Miley Cyrus, David Bryne, Boy George, and Paul Simon.
