About
The Great Give Back is a community service initiative created by
the Suffolk County Public Library Directors Association and the Suffolk
Cooperative Library System, in conjunction with the Nassau Library System. The
mission of The Great Give Back is to provide a day of opportunities for the
patrons of the Public Libraries of New York State to participate in meaningful,
service-oriented experiences.
Join us for a day of donation drives, live music, refreshments,
activities with the Quogue Wildlife Refuge and a Meet & Greet with
adoptable rescues from the Southampton Animal Shelter.
Live music by special guest Jimmy Conlin! Quogue’s own Jimmy
Conlin is a professional musician/singer/songwriter who did an album with Paul
Simon. Come hear him perform his famous “The
Deer In Quogue”, as well as many other songs!
The Quogue Library is collecting donations to benefit the
Southampton Animal Shelter and the Quogue Wildlife Refuge through October 19th.
