East Quogue School: KID ART Inspired by VEGETABLES &
PLANTS!

Presented by The Gallery at Quogue Library. On display from February
21^st to April 3^rd.

Vegetables and plants using mixed media…Paint, paper
scraps, fabric, buttons, etc… Inspired by the artwork of artist Lina Puerta,
whose work focuses on indigenous farming practices and the differences between
man-made food and food grown from the Earth, since we live in an area with so
many farms and the students in East Quogue have a garden at the school that
they work together to maintain and grow vegetables in.

All are welcome to the Artist Reception Thursday, February
27^th from 3:15 PM to 5:00 PM.
