Chef George Hirsch is well-known for his groundbreaking PBS TV series. As a radio
host, executive producer, and five-time cookbook author, he has been a fixture on
public television for over 25 years. George has hosted and produced several cooking
and lifestyle series on various networks, including PBS, Create TV, and syndication.
The latest TV series is George Hirsch Lifestyle. In 1994, Chef George created, hosted,
and released the first outdoor grilling TV series. He has been dubbed the “Original Grill
Guy.”
In partnership with The WNET Group’s NPR WLIW-FM, he produced a one-hour public
radio program called George Hirsch Lifestyle Radio, featuring enlightening.
