For many of our readers, Long Island Restaurant week gives you a good reason to check out a North Fork restaurant at a good price. (Click here for a complete list of participating restaurants in Riverhead and Southold towns.)

The event, which kicks off today and ends a week later on Feb. 2, features three-course prix-fixe meals for $29.95.

But not every one of our readers will be heading out to the North Fork this week.

So we put our heads together to recommend a meal at a participating restaurant in each Long Island town. We’ve noted additional fees where applicable.

Click the name of the restaurant for its full Restaurant Week menu.
