A Christmas fairytale comes to life in this elaborate display of dazzle and décor at this traditional German restaurant in the Gramercy Park neighborhood. Inside you will find thousands of Victorian-style ornaments and lights, which remain presented into mid-spring. The menu is also a showstopper with delights such as roast boneless loin of pork and schnitzel a la Holstein. Make your reservations far ahead in advance.

SERRA ALPINA, Eataly, Flatiron

This stunning winter pop-up restaurant, which will be open through spring, opened on the roof of Eataly featuring décor inspired by the rare Stella Alpina flower found in the Italian Alps. Offering sweeping views of the city skyline through its retractable glass roof and a winter wonderland interior, the menu features a library of unique Italian cheeses, antipasti options and a cocktail program including a selection of spiced mulled wines.

Union Square Holiday Market

Discover unique gifts and plentiful food items from more than 150 vendors set up in Union Square Park. New sections include Little Brooklyn, a warming station and lounge, live music, and more. Food must-tries include German Delights, Taste of Persia, Doughnuttery and Macaron Parlour. Open daily through Christmas Eve.
