Although the latter half of this winter has blanketed the East End with snow and some nasty arctic temperatures, the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor is turning up the heat with fantastic music offerings celebrating rock-a-billy, Latin Dance and tributes to some classic rock and roll icons.

One of the East End’s premier venues for production of original theater by both new and established playwrights, Bay Street does not close its doors in the dead of winter. Quite the opposite actually, as artistic director Scott Schwartz and his team create an off-season lineup of winter and spring break acting classes for students, a film series, stand-up comedy, the “Goat On A Boat” marionette puppet series, and plenty of music.

Here are northforker’s top 5 winter music picks at the theater for Sag Harbor locals or those willing to brave the cold to travel to this wonderful historic whaling village and enjoy some great music!
