CARRIE MILLER PHOTO | Mattebella’s food and wine pairing at Cowfish next Saturday is a meal you won’t want to miss.

If you’ve ever eaten at Cowfish in Hampton Bays, you’ll surely understand our excitement for an event being held their next week.

The highly regarded waterfront restaurant has been hosting a series of wine dinners with local wineries. On Jan. 31,  Cowfish is partnering with Mattebella Vineyards of Southold for a five-course pairing that has our mouths watering.

Tickets to the food and wine pairing cost $85 per person ($75 per person for Wine Club members). To make a reservation, call 631-594-3868.

Course One:

Shrimp Ceviche: avocado, jicama, tortilla chips
